About Us

JELYNNE is a heritage-based brand dedicated to producing handcrafted travel pieces that can be cherished for generations.

Taking direct inspiration from her Philippine heritage, the namesake founder designs functional travel objects made from palm. Every plant fiber is traceable to the forest from where it grew, and every finished piece to the hands of the culture bearers who made it.

Founder Jelynne Tirona Jardiniano Morse is a Filipino-American entrepreneur, social impact designer, and researcher based in New York City. In 2012, Jelynne went on a year-long hiatus from work to care for horses in France and to reconnect with her ancestral home in the Philippines.

Jelynne had a treasured travel companion throughout her journey abroad, a delicate straw hat, which she found on a separate trip to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Upon her return to New York City, the hat was in ruin, and she sought ways to fix it. It was then that Jelynne decided she would recreate the hat, and that was the spark that began her namesake brand.

Approach

At JELYNNE, we embrace the time our process takes and are guided by our three core values:

Reclaim

Reframe

Regenerate
